Sensory Friendly, Safe, and Fun!
At Behaven Kids, we understand that traditional Halloween festivities can sometimes be overwhelming for children with sensory sensitivities. That’s why our Trunk or Treats are designed to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable and included. With friendly faces, children can engage with their peers at their own pace. Instead of going door-to-door, children can visit creatively decorated car trunks for candy and treats. It’s a wonderful way to bring the community together while ensuring a fun and low-pressure experience, especially for Autistic Children or kids with sensory challenges.
While Trunk or Treats are a great alternative option for Trick or Treating and Autistic Children, we want to highlight some sensory friendly tips for trick or treat here!
Meet Your Favorite Staff
One of the highlights of our Trunk or Treat events is the chance to see your favorite Behaven staff in their Halloween costumes! Our team is excited to dress up (and decorate their trunks) to celebrate with our families. We believe in making connections and creating lasting memories, and what better way to do that than familiar faces in fun costumes?
